Only three nations have won the CONCACAF Gold Cup, and all but once it has been won by the United States or Mexico.
That's one of the knocks on the tournament, one of the reasons it won't get anywhere near the international attention CONMEBOL's in-progress Copa America will get. The quality of play is lower, and it's like a La Liga without even an Atletico or a Valencia around to spring an upset.
