The Comets relentless attack proved the difference in a thrilling 10-8 East vs South Central matchup.
After a promising start to the game with a Lucas Rodriguez goal, the Comets defense struggled to stop the MetroStars offense. Comets tagged three more goals through Leo Gibson, Rodriguez again, and James Togbah, but Mississauga scored five goals of their own leaving the halftime score at 5-4 MetroStars.
The Comets came out strong in the second half after the birthday boy, Ramone Palmer, scored, but the MetroStars regained their two goal advantage shortly after. Perez scored two quick goals for the Comets at the end of the third and the start of the fourth to tie it up at 7-7.
