Comedian charged over Blatter money throwing stunt

The outgoing FIFA president was showered with fake cash by the British man as he held a press conference on Monday and is facing charges of trespassing.

Comedian Simon Brodkin has been charged with trespassing by police in Switzerland after interrupting a press conference held by FIFA president Sepp Blatter.

The British man, 38, halted proceedings by showering fake bank notes over the head of football's world governing body on Monday.

A statement from a police spokesperson read: "He will be charged for trespassing because he wasn't allowed to enter the building. If there will be a trial it is still to be decided by the prosecutor.
