The former United States youth international will join the Crew after his rights were acquired from the Montreal Impact on Monday.
The Columbus Crew have signed former United States youth international Dilly Duka, the team announced Monday.
Duka, 26, had been out of contract with the Montreal Impact after playing the 2015 season with them, though the Canadian franchise still retained his rights. Columbus acquired those rights for general allocation money, targeted allocation money and the Crew’s 2017 second-round MLS SuperDraft pick.
The attacking midfielder was originally drafted by the Crew eighth overall in 2010, and had since played for the Chicago Fire in addition to the Impact.
