Club president comments on £28m midfielder's Chelsea transfer after done deal reports

Italian giants Roma haven’t given up on the hope of finishing second in the Serie A which will guarantee them a place in the group stages of the Champions League next season.

A lot of noise has been going on about Roma’s potential transfer moves, with several Giallorossi players have been linked with a big-money move to top Premier League clubs.

Roma’s undoubtedly midfield pillars – Miralem Pjanic and Radja Nainggolan – both have been linked with a move to Chelsea in the summer.

The English press are confirmed that a deal for Nainggolan has taken place.
