A 2-0 defeat to Chiapas on Tuesday ended Club America’s short two-game winning streak. The defeat brought las Aguilas down just one spot in the standings at 11, but by losing to Chiapas, America lost the opportunity to move all the way to sixth in the table. The defeat to Chiapas also reminded America of the slow start of Agustin Marchesin in comparison to Moises Munoz and the lack of goals coming from Oribe Peralta and Silvio Romero. This Saturday, America looks for redemption as they take on last-placed Puebla.
Like the last previous three teams America faced, Puebla is facing a serious relegation threat.
