After another edition of the Clasico Joven between Club América and Cruz Azul, the third in a span of 12 days, la Maquina and the Aguilas battled it out to a 0-0 draw. América had every chance to come out victorious but instead they split points with their rivals who previously knocked them out of the CONCACAF Champions Cup.
Going into last night’s game América had a lot on the line. While they were at the top of the table, they knew they had to win and in a dominant fashion after they were eliminated from the Champions Cup just a couple of days prior.
