Oswaldo Alanís and Chivas: a modern love-hate relationship. The Mexican defender and the Guadalajara-based club have been through ups and downs but now it seems they might be ready to reunite...only three months after separating.
Alanís left Chivas in May following the 2018 Clausura season and reported with Spanish club Getafe in the summer. The Madrid side’s since departed Sporting Director Ramón Planes signed Alanís back in May, but coach José Bordalás never asked nor wanted his services, leaving him ousted from the roster.
“We are working on a possible exit for Alanís... we (already) have three left-footed center backs and we are looking for a destination for Oswaldo,” Nicolás Rodríguez, new Getafe Sporting Director, said.
