Chivas got a very important victory for their chances to get to the post season when they defeated Santos by a 2-0 score. After a good 1st half but difficult 2nd half, Chivas held on to get three points that almost guarantee them a spot in the Play In round. Chivas will close out their season with another very important match against Atletico San Luis while Santos ends a very disappointing season with a visit to play Queretaro.
In front of a very low attendance for a Chivas match, both teams came out with young starting 11. Teun Wilke would get the start over the injured Ricardo Marin, who stayed in Guadalajara.
