The worst attack in MLS has been given a boost with the signing of Armenia international David Arshakyan and the acquisition of Luis Solignac from Colorado.
The Chicago Fire moved to bolster the worst attack in MLS as the transfer window closed Wednesday, signing promising Armenia international David Arshakyan and acquiring Luis Solignac in a trade with the Colorado Rapids.
Arshakyan, 21, has signed with the Fire on a two-year contract, with club options that could extend the deal to four years. The 6-foot-4 striker, who earned his first cap for Armenia in March, had scored 34 goals in 43 league matches since signing with Lithuanian side FK Trakai in 2015.
