Chelsea are set to hand youngster Armando Broja a new contract, as reported by journalist Fabrizio Romano on Twitter.
Broja first joined Chelsea’s academy back in 2009, when he was just eight years old. He earned his first professional contract in February 2020 and made his debut two weeks later, replacing Olivier Giroud in the 86th minute of the Blues’ 4-0 win over Everton.
The 19-year-old spent the entirety of last season out on loan at Vitesse. During which, he emerged as a promising young talent, scoring 11 goals in 34 appearances in all competitions.
