Chelsea youngsters going out on loan is nothing new. Last season, around 23 players were sent out on loan by the club. It’s a vicious cycle really. One that makes you laugh! Unless you’re a Chelsea fan. Even they do laugh at their loan system. Probably.

Top young players are bought and sent on loan, and later sold permanently for a high transfer fee. Basically a system that fails to develop young players, but credit should be given for how Chelsea manage to fork out high transfer fees for these players when they are sold elsewhere.
