Since Roman Abramovich took over at Chelsea in 2003, the Blues have become a team that have always looked to the transfer market to solve their problems. This has meant that even with a list of players owned by the club almost reaching three figures, Chelsea have always bought their way out of sticky situations.
This is all changing this summer though, with Chelsea transfer banned for two windows following in-proper approaches in signing Under-18 players. Though Chelsea are appealing this decision, it means they'll be forced to go through this summer transfer window without signing any players.
