Chelsea ease through

Chelsea eased into the fourth round of the FA Cup with a 2-0 victory over Scunthorpe United.

Diego Costa put the Premier League side in front, scoring for the third consecutive match.

Branislav Ivanovic curled in a ball from the right, and while it first appeared that defender Scott Laird got the touch replays proved it was a neat finish from the Spain international.

The second goal came in the 69th minute, Cezar Azpilicueta getting down the left before cutting the ball back for half-time substitute Ruben Loftus-Cheek to score his first-ever Chelsea goal.

Chelsea then eased out the rest of the match to secure a win which was never really in doubt.
