Supporters of Brazilian club Chapecoense want to pay tribute to the fans of Atletico Nacional next week when the two sides meet in the first leg of the Recopa Sudamericana final.
The pair were set to meet in the final of the Copa Sudamericana in November before an aircraft carrying the Chapecoense team tragically crashed on the way to the game, killing 19 members of the squad and 71 of the 77 people on board.
Per CONMEBOL (via the Associated Press and USA Today), after Nacional anointed Chapecoense as tournament winners following the crash, the people of Chapeco want to "pay in their own city a special tribute to Atletico Nacional for their actions of solidarity and support offered at the time of the air crash.
