The UEFA Champions League draw for the Group Stage took place this evening in Monaco, with the draw delivering mixed results for the Mexican legion playing in Europe.
PSV Eindhoven, who are possessors of two Mexican players now after Erick Gutierrez signed for the Dutch giants on Wednesday, will be put to a severe test, as they’ve been drawn in arguably the toughest group possible. PSV are to meet Barcelona, Tottenham Hotspur, and Inter Milan.
Meanwhile, Hector Herrera and Jesus Manuel “Tecatito” Corona’s club, FC Porto, enjoyed better luck. They avoided major European opposition and will be part of Group D with Lokomotiv Moscow, Schalke 04, and Galatasaray.
