Carles Alena has sent a goodbye message to Barcelona and the club’s supporters after sealing a permanent move to Getafe.
The 23-year-old has agreed to join Getafe on a five-year deal and admits it’s not easy saying goodbye to the Catalan giants.
He wrote on Instagram, “16 years at @fcbarcelona ... it’s not easy to say goodbye to what has been my home. I have been a lucky one and I can only thank you all from the bottom of my heart! I’m speechless ... A culé for life. Always the best @fcbarcelona”
Alena is the latest player to depart and follows Konrad, Jean-Clair Todibo, Junior Firpo, Matheus Fernandes, and Francisco Trincao out of the exit door.
