Capital One Cup 2015: Tuesday Scores, Results for League Cup 2nd Round

It was a successful night in the North East, as Newcastle United beat Northampton Town 4-1 in the Capital One Cup second round Tuesday, while Sunderland won 6-3 against a valiant Exeter City as the goals flew in around the country.

Aston Villa and Crystal Palace needed extra time to overcome Notts County and Luton, while Stoke City and West Bromwich Albion progressed after being taken to penalties.
