Pumas host Cruz Azul on Sunday afternoon, and both 'grandes' - two of Mexico's four historically successful and well-supported clubs - currently sit outside the playoff positions with just two matches to be played before the postseason begins. Cruz Azul is in ninth, one place away from qualification only because of an inferior goal difference, while Pumas sit a point back at 11th.
