El Tri arrive to this game on the back of a perfect record, beating El Salvador 3-0 at the Estadio Azteca and then earning their first win at Honduras in 22 years.
But Mexico have unfinished business in Canada. The last Mexican victory in Canadian territory came 23 years ago when goals from Hugo Sanchez and Francisco Javier "El Abuelo" Cruz sealed El Tri a place in the 1994 World Cup.
