Canada to face Mauritania, Morocco in October friendlies

Michael Findlay will serve as Canada's interim head coach for the pair of international matches in October.

The road to Qatar 2022 starts now for Canada Soccer, with the announcement that the Canadian men's national team will travel to Morocco for a pair of international friendlies next month.

Staff coach Michael Findlay, who served as an assistant under former head coach Benito Floro in Canada's failed qualification campaign for the 2018 World Cup, has taken the reins on an interim basis and will run the camp that includes matches against Mauritania (Oct. 7) and Morocco (Oct. 11).
