The Brazilian forward, who has won both Liga MX and MLS Golden Boot awards, is again set to miss significant time for Queretaro.
Just weeks after his return from a knee injury that kept him out of the Clausura, Queretaro forward Camilo Sanvezzo has sustained another injury and will miss the rest of the Apertura, the club announced Wednesday.
The Brazilian striker was the league's top goal-scorer in the 2014 Apertura but missed the 2015 Clausura after sustaining an ACL tear in preseason. He returned to action at the start of this Liga MX season, scoring in the team's July 25 opener against Atlas.
