Guinean heavyweights Horoya AC have been 'rewarded' for their qualification from the CAF Champions League group stage with an ominous double-header against African giants Al-Ahly in Monday's quarter-final draw.
Horoya eliminated 2016 champions Mamelodi Sundowns to advance to the final eight for the first time, but they'll have their work cut out against an Ahly side who have won Africa's premier club competition on eight occasions.
Ahly initially struggled during their group-stage campaign, taking one point from their opening two fixtures and suffering a shock defeat at KCCA FC, but they ended the round in style and will be favourites to reach the final four ahead of Horoya.
