Caf Champions League: Asante Kotoko happy to meet 'high expectations' - Felix Annan

Asante Kotoko skipper Felix Annan is delighted by their qualification for the next round of the Caf Champions League, stating failure would have been "a big blow".

A 2-0 second leg home triumph over Kano Pillars of Nigeria saw the Ghanaians book a ticket to the next round with a 4-3 aggregate win on Sunday.

In the end, goals from Matthew Kelvin Andoh and Emmanuel Gyamfi proved decisive in the preliminary round fixture at Kumasi's Baba Yara Stadium.
