Liverpool are looking to sign Argentine striker Lucas Alario in the summer. The Reds are reportedly in talks with Argentine club River Plater over a possible transfer.
According to reports from Infobae, Liverpool have already made an official approach to sign the 23-year-old striker. The Reds have had a £5.65m offer rejected, with the Argentine club looking to settle for a fee in the region of £9m.
The striker rose to prominence following his move to River Plater from Colon. He helped his club win the Copa Libertadores where he scored against Mexican side Tigres UANL.
