Bernardo Silva has leapt to the defence of Portugal team-mate Joao Felix and says he’s more suited to Barcelona than Atletico.
Felix signed for Atletico in a club-record deal but failed to shine with Diego Simeone’s side and was shipped out on loan to Chelsea and then Barcelona.
Bernardo says that Felix simply isn’t suited to Atletico’s style of play but thinks he’s a lot happier now with Xavi’s side.
“I arrived at a club like Manchester City to which my qualities adapted, but Joao Félix did not. And it is not a criticism of Atlético.
