Fabio Pecchia has been appointed the new coach of Hellas Verona, which was recently relegated to the Serie B.
Newcastle United manager Rafael Benitez will be without Fabio Pecchia next season after the Italian agreed to take over at Hellas Verona.
Pecchia had been Benitez's assistant since the Spaniard was in charge of Napoli, taking him to Real Madrid and later Newcastle.
However, after Newcastle was relegated to the Championship, Pecchia elected to move to Verona, which was also relegated to the second division this season.
Verona finished bottom of Serie A in 2015-16, winning just five of its 38 games.
