Benfica have reportedly offered Atletico Madrid €30 million for 50% of Joao Felix’s rights as they attempt to bring the Portugal international back to the club.
Felix is facing an uncertain future after the end of his Barcelona loan. He’s said he wants to continue, but Barca don’t know if they can afford to keep him.
A return to Atletico Madrid also looks tricky, meaning Benfica could be a potential solution for the forward.
Diario Sport are, predictably, far more excited about the whole situation and think that Benfica and Atletico are “close” to an agreement for Felix.
