Whatever comes of Ben Affleck's cinematic endeavor to portray the FIFA corruption scandal on the big screen, we're willing to bet it will fare better than FIFA's extremely ill-fated United Passions.
Affleck will produce a film alongside director Gavin O'Connor to chronicle the scandal that's rocked football's governing body over the past few months, according to the Hollywood Reporter (h/t the Guardian).
The film will revolve around the activities of former CONCACAF executive Chuck Blazer, who padded his wallet over television deals and bribes before ultimately becoming an FBI informant in 2013 as part of a plea deal.
