The Galatasaray forward could become the latest player to head to the Chinese Super League in a big-money move
Beijing Guoan have made a bid for Galatasaray forward Lukas Podolski, the Turkish club has confirmed.
Reports in Turkey suggest the Chinese Super League (CSL) club's offer for the ex-Germany international is worth around £5.5 million and Galatasaray have admitted they are willing to strike a deal if Podolski wishes to leave.
Back in February, Gala sold experienced striker Burak Yilmaz to Beijing for £6.5m, with the 31-year-old reportedly earning another £6.5m in his annual salary.
"We've received a remarkable offer from Beijing Guoan for Lukas Podolski," Galatasaray spokesman Levent Nazifoglu told Anadolu Agency.
