David Beckham’s potential Miami MLS franchise has a new home. Again.
After months of negotiations attempting to acquire land for a stadium next to the home park of MLB’s Miami Marlins, Beckham’s ownership group has changed gears and will move forward with a plan centered around Miami’s Overtown neighborhood.
The team announced the change in a statement released Friday.
The statement, published by the Miami Herald , reads: “Miami Beckham United has secured a stadium development site at 650 Northwest 8th Street in the City of Miami's historic Overtown neighborhood.
