The 33-year-old veteran opened the scoring in the Houston Dynamo's 2-1 win over the San Jose Earthquakes.
Before Saturday, DaMarcus Beasley's last MLS goal came when he was a 21-year-old winger fresh off his first World Cup.
As Beasley slotted home a 55th-minute strike at BBVA Compass Stadium, he returned to the scoresheet — now as a 33-year-old left back with four World Cups on his resume.
The goal, which opened the scoring in Houston's 2-1 win over the San Jose Earthquakes, came in Beasley's 31st game since he returned to MLS last summer following a decade playing in Europe and Mexico.
