Bayern Munich CEO Karl Heinz-Rummenigge has confirmed Renato Sanches will leave the Bavarians to join Swansea City on a season-long loan deal.
Swans boss, Paul Clement - former assistant coach with Bayern - will now be entrusted with the development of the 20-year-old midfielder for this season, following his largely disappointing debut campaign in the Bundesliga.
The Portugal international joined the German giants last season from Benfica for a deal worth €35m, but made only six starts in the Bundesliga last season.
Speaking of Sanches's imminent move to the Premier League, Rummenigge told Kicker: "We wanted Renato Sanches to join a club, where he is able to play on a high level and where he has a coach, which wants him.
