Hamburg endured more misery at the Allianz Arena as champion Bayern Munich romped to a 5-0 win in Friday's Bundesliga opener.
Thomas Muller scored a second-half double and Douglas Costa marked his league debut with a goal as Bayern Munich started its Bundesliga defense with a 5-0 hammering of Hamburg.
Bayern, which won a third straight league title last season, had scored 31 goals in its previous five matches against Hamburg at the Allianz Arena.
And the visitor, which won a relegation playoff to maintain top-flight status last season, was once again put to the sword as Pep Guardiola's men started their league campaign in style Friday.
