Over the last few days speculation is growing that Barcelona have serious interest in signing Bayer Leverkusen center-back and Germany international Jonathan Tah as a replacement for the possible departure of Eric García as well as to add depth to a very thin backline.
In the last few hours new reports claim that Barça are willing to offer as much as €20 million for Tah, who has one year left on his contract with Leverkusen and is also a target of Bayern Munich.
Leverkusen sporting director Simon Rolfes was asked about the rumors on Wednesday, and made a pretty clear statement about the club’s intentions.
