Sean Goss found a late winner for Manchester United as they claimed a 3-2 victory over Liverpool at Leigh Sports Village on Monday after squandering a two-goal lead.
The Red Devils had been cruising at 2-0 up with 10 minutes to go before Liverpool scored twice in three minutes and looked to have earned a point, but Goss powered home from the edge of the box with a minute remaining.
Elsewhere, Norwich thrashed Southampton 7-2 and Division 1 leaders Sunderland beat Chelsea 3-1 at Cobham.
