Wojciech Szczu0119sny has spoken out about his clash with team-mate Alejandro Balde during Barcelona’s win over Benfica that resulted in a goal for the hosts.
The goalkeeper had a game to forget in Lisbon and made a real mess early on when he wiped out Balde when coming racing out of his goal.
Szczesny claims he did shout for the ball but says the left-back didn’t hear him.
“I think the timing of the start was good, but Balde didn’t hear me. Luckily, it was only one goal and we ended up winning the game.
