Barcelona’s plan for Vitor Roque involves a “slow start” and learning from Robert Lewandowski

The Vitor Roque Era has begun. The Brazilian arrived in Barcelona on Wednesday and had a busy day around the club offices, underwent medical tests and took his time going through the facilities and knowing the people at the place he now calls home.

The 18-year-old is Barça’s big signing in the January transfer window, and the team’s serious issues in front of goal desperately need an injection of youthful energy and natural scoring talent that Vitor Roque is capable of bringing. But he’s still only 18, and Barça have a real plan to help the young man adapt to life at the Blaugrana.
