Barcelona’s Lieke Martens lit up the Women’s World Cup on Tuesday with a brilliant opening goal for the Netherlands in their last-16 clash against Japan.
The 26-year-old produced a neat flick from a corner that went through a defender’s legs before beating the goalkeeper on 17 minutes.
