Barcelona’s Andreas Christensen undergoes surgery, expected to miss another two months

Barcelona’s Andreas Christensen has reportedly undergone surgery on his achilles problems and is not expected back until the end of January.

The Denmark international has only made one substitute appearance so far this season and was ruled out for a long spell back in August.

Catalunya Radio are now reporting that he’s undergone surgery in the tendons on both feet and is not expected back for another couple of months.

Christensen has apparently undergone “cellular regenerative therapy” in a bid to finally be rid of the problem that has plagued him for some time.
