Barcelona are said to be worried about Ilkay Gundogan’s workload as the midfielder is on target to match Pedri’s brutal record number of games in 2020-2021.
Pedri played 68 times in that season and went on to struggle with a series of injury problems in the wake of the heavy schedule.
Gundogan has already played 64 times for club and country this season, leaving Barcelona concerned about his workload, according to Mundo Deportivo.
The midfielder will play again later today at Euro 2024 where Germany are set to take on Denmark in the last 16.
