Barcelona splent lavishly over the summer but one deal which went under the radar a little was the acquisition of Spanish starlet Pedri from Las Palmas.
The Spanish champions snapped up the 16-year-old in a deal which will see him remain at Las Palmas for the 2019-20 season and join Barcelona on 1 July 2020.
Barcelona will pay an initial €5 million to bring in Pedri on a two-year deal with the option of two more seasons. Las Palmas will be entitled to 15% of any future sale.
Yet in a move which shows just how highly Barcelona rate the youngster, they have announced his contract will include a release clause of €100m, rising to €400m when he becomes registered for the first team.
