Barcelona have been told there will be “no problem” playing the next Clasico at Montjuic amid speculation they may have to shift the location of the game.
The Catalans had reportedly been looking at other options as the Rolling Stones were due to play a gig at the Olympic Stadium on the same date of El Clasico.
However, Barcelona City Council ’s Sports Councillor, David Escudé, has now confirmed it’s not an issue and the team will be able to carry on as normal if they wish.
“The Rolling Stones have not signed the contract, so Barça will continue with the construction work on the Camp Nou but will be able to choose which stadium to play in,” he told Mundo Deportivo.
