Barcelona are set for another clash with Real Sociedad after being drawn against Imanol Alguacil’s men in the Spanish Super Cup.
The two clubs will meet again in January at the the Nuevo Arcángel Stadium in Cordoba.
The winners go on to play either Real Madrid or Athletic the following day at Malaga’s La Rosaleda stadium.
The Spanish Super Cup is back in Spain this year, due to Covid-19, after being held outside of the country for the first time last year when it moved to Saudi Arabia.
La Liga champions Real Madrid and runners-up Barcelona are once again in contention alongside Copa del Rey finalists Real Sociedad and Athletic.
