Barcelona’s playing staff are reportedly still owed bonus money after their treble success last season and will be in line for a significant windfall should they secure another trio of major trophies in the months to come.
According to Luis F. Rojo of Marca, the squad will share €25 million between them at the end of the 2015-16 campaign should the La Liga, Copa del Rey and Champions League titles remain at the Camp Nou for another season. However, it’s also suggested the amount of success this team is having is becoming rather costly for the Blaugrana:
In fact, the club had only budgeted for winning La Liga, around €25 million, half the amount the players would receive for winning the treble.
