Barcelona are set to unveil a new club mascot as part of the club’s 125th anniversary celebrations.

The Catalans will show off the creation which has been made by several Catalan graphic designers next Friday, according to Relevo.

Barcelona’s new mascot will be a character who “represents the entire history of the club” and will appear in digital and physical formats.

The hope is that the mascot will go down well with supporters and will then be used in merchandising go on to enjoy a long life at Barca.

The Catalans have come up with a mascot before.
