Barcelona have reportedly rejected an opening offer from Serie A side Juventus for defender Ronald Araujo.
Mundo Deportivo are reporting that Araujo’s agent had asked Barcelona to listen to a first bid from the Turin giants.
However, it was apparently given short shrift as Barca’s reply was: “He is not on the market.”
Barcelona aren’t keen on letting Araujo go in the winter but also know that if they wait until the summer, when he’ll have just one year left on his contract, his value will drop.
The Catalans therefore are demanding Araujo bring an offer of at least 70 million euros if he wants to depart in the current transfer window.
