Barcelona have rejected Celta Vigo’s offer of €10 million for Rafinha and are holding out for €16m for the 27-year-old.
Rafinha has spent the season at Balaidos and did enough to tempt Celta into trying to land him permanently but the club can’t meet his asking price, according to Mundo Deportivo.
Coach Oscar Garcia was keen to keep hold of Rafinha but their offer has been rejected, and the report reckons the midfielder could now head to Serie A.
MD claim one unnamed Italian club have already been on the phone to discuss Rafinha’s availability but aren’t likely to meet the €16m price either.
