Barcelona have reportedly rejected the opening offer from Bayern Munich for Ousmane Dembele. Sport is reporting that the €70m from the Germans was quickly turned down by Barcelona. Bayern are eager to bolster their wing positions due to Ribery and Robben both being gone.
There are likely a few reasons for the quick rejection. The first being that if Barcelona were to sell Dembele they would likely need somewhere in the range of €95m, given that they just spent over €100m on him two years ago.
The second reason is that Dembele could still be a key chip in any Neymar deal that would take place.
