Barcelona and Real Betis have agreed a deal for left-back Junior Firpo, according to Seville-based radio Onda Cero as reported by Mundo Deportivo. The two clubs have reached an agreement on a 25 million euro transfer, with no variables or performance bonuses. Junior Firpo reportedly has a personal deal with Barça and is set to sign a five-year contract.
The deal progressed quickly on Wednesday after a few weeks of slow negotiations, as Ernesto Valverde was keen on having Firpo with the squad for next week’s trip to the United States.
